Brindley Goldstein Ltd is a firm of chartered accountants situated in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. The firm was established in 1978 by Maurice Brindley and was originally known as Brindley & Co. Charles Goldstein joined the practice in 1985, when it was renamed Brindley Goldstein. The firm moved to its current location in 1996 and became a limited company in March 2000.
Meet The Team
Charles Goldstein
Director F.C.A
Charles was born in London and grew up in Finchley. After finishing school and spending two years abroad he joined the accountancy practice Leigh Carr & Co. qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Charles has gained a wide range of experience dealing with the self employed; small and medium sized companies and high net worth individuals during his twenty five years in practice.
When Charles is not at work he enjoys cycling, watching football and spending time with his wife, four children and grand children.
Lee Bone
Taxation and Small Businesses
Lee was born in Enfield and lives in Hertfordshire with his partner and three children. Lee has worked as accountant since leaving school in 1998 and has been with Brindley Goldstein for over 15 years.
Lee enjoys playing and watching football when he is not at work and spending time with his family.
Thomas Goldstein
Accountant
Thomas is a trainee accountant who began his career at Barclays through the graduate program, where he gained experience in system processes and accounting software. After his time at Barclays, Thomas moved into Fintech working for Deel an international payroll solution, where he continued to expand his accounting and financial knowledge. Thomas is in the process of completing his ACA qualifications with the ICAEW.
Janice Thorp
Payroll
Janice has worked in accounting all her working life. She first worked for Johnson Matthey Chemicals Ltd and joined Brindley Goldstein over 30 years ago. She has been running the payroll department at Brindley Goldstein for the last 20 years.
When Janice is not at work she enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her two children and grandchildren.
Pam Heast
Accounts for Limited Companies
Pam has worked for accountancy firms all her working only taking a break to work from home whilst raising her family. Pam has worked for Brindley Goldstein for over 25 years principally preparing accounts for Limited companies and managing the accountancy preparation side of the practice.
When Pam is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband , two daughters & five grandchildren, socialising and holidaying abroad.
Lisa Welch
Bookkeeping and VAT
Lisa has worked in accounting all her working life in a variety of roles from purchase ledger, sales ledger, CIS and payroll. Lisa has worked at Brindley Goldstein for over 7 years where she looks after the bookkeeping and vat for all the practice’s clients.
When Lisa is not at work she enjoys going to festivals and spending time with her fiancé and son.
Victor Kalota
FCCA Auditing
Victor has worked in audit and accounting all his working life. Victor trained as auditor with PWC and then worked for a few different accountancy firms accountancy carrying out accountancy, taxation and auditing work. Victor joined Brindley Goldstein about 5 years ago and has been running their audit department since then.
Victor enjoys watching and playing football, walking, jogging and spending time with his wife and two children.
Karanveer Powar
Accounts for Limited Companies
Karanveer studied Accounting and Finance (BA) at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with first-class degree. Shortly after graduating, Karanveer started working at Brindley Goldstein and has been here ever since. Karanveer works closely with Limited companies and individuals, whilst doing his professional exams to become ACCA qualified.
Karanveer is an avid sports fan, and spends his free time playing and watching football, cricket and tennis.
Kerry-Jo Jolly
Company secretarial, Administration and Accounts
Kerry joined Brindley Goldstein in 2014, prior to this she worked for a Government agency. Kerry handles accounts and deals with all statutory matters for Limited company clients. Kerry also oversees the day to day running of the Waltham Cross office.
Outside of work, Kerry likes to spend time with her family, and can often be found on the tennis courts or at the stables.
